Life is often unpredictable and painful. It can be easy to find ourselves feeling stuck in a spiral of shame and uncertainty. As humans, we often have an “inner knowing” that we have grown far away from. It’s difficult to commit to the journey of healing. However, choosing this journey is often “the right kind of hard,” while remaining stuck, frozen, and numb, is “the wrong kind of hard.” Sitting with big emotions can often times feel uncomfortable and scary. Everyone deserves a safe space to process difficult emotions and life's challenges. I am dedicated to helping others along their path to healing and discovering one’s authentic sense of self. As a clinical social worker, I respect and encourage your individual creativity and unique personality, while assisting you in utilizing more effective skills to cope with the differing struggles that come with being human. I am aligned with and passionate about advocating for and working with the LGBTQIA+ community. I also have extensive background and experience in eating disorder treatment. Our work is a space where every identity can be expressed, explored, and celebrated. Your struggles are valid and you are worthy to take up space. You can do hard things.
