As a first-generation Asian American and ally of the LGBTQ+ community, I embrace and support people from all backgrounds. I provide gender-affirming care to clients in Montana and Connecticut, creating a judgment-free space for open expression. I have over 20 years of experience in the mental health field, working as a clinical therapist, creative arts therapist, and certified child life specialist in Chicago hospitals and Montana communities. My therapy approach helps clients process past and current issues, promoting self-compassion, self-understanding, and relief from anxiety. I use a blend of cognitive-behavioral, dialectical behavior therapy, emotions-focused, and solutions-focused techniques. As a registered art therapist, I may incorporate art to enhance the therapeutic process. I am a certified telemental health provider. My hope is for all my clients to reach a place of healing from trauma and resolution from conflicts; that we establish effective coping strategies that strengthen your resilience; and put into place practical solutions to create a more fulfilling life. Clients frequently tell me they feel relief - that a weight was lifted off their shoulders - after each session.
