Lindsey Van Roo
I graduated from UVU with my masters in Social Work in 2019 and have been working as a clinical social worker since then. I have enjoyed working with different populations and learning more about the people I work with. My background in this field includes inpatient treatment, DV shelters, crisis lines, refugee services, and community mental health. I have worked with individual's, couples, and families and enjoy working with those age 13 and up with any identity and background. I feel the therapeutic relationship is built on trust and understanding and strive to create a safe space for clients to feel they are heard and understood. I have several different modalities that are utilized in sessions and enjoy meeting the client where they are and providing different support to each individual person as needed. You can process trauma, learn skills to manage emotions, and come to build a better relationship with yourself and those around you through understanding and compassion.
