I hold over 10 years of experience in psychiatry, driven by a real passion for helping people build their self-worth and support their efforts in getting their life "back on track." I’ve had the privilege to train with addictionologists that are experts in their field, and hold a board certification in addiction as a nurse since 2020. Additionally, I have expertise in persons with trauma, particularly childhood trauma, sexual abuse, and those with military or first responder experience. My approach is all about you—your physical health, emotional well-being, and the social stressors you face. I take the time to get to know you as an individual, understanding your unique experiences and needs. In my practice, no one is just a number. We’ll work together to create a treatment plan that’s right for you, using evidence-based practices to guide us. By use of either medication management or psychotherapy, I aim to provide a balanced and effective approach to you When you leave our sessions, my goal is for you to feel more hopeful and optimistic than when you came in. I want you to feel understood and heard, and I’ll take the time to make sure that happens. You’ll gain a deeper understanding of your mental health and how to manage your symptoms. Whether it’s through medication adjustments or use of psychotherapy, you can expect to leave feeling empowered and excited as to what's in store for your future.
