Hello brave individual! First off, I am so proud of you for seeking help and guidance, this is not an easy step and I hope you are proud of yourself too. I earned my Bachelor of Social Work degree from Southern Connecticut State University in 2015, my Master of Social Work degree from University of Connecticut in 2016 and recently pursued my Doctorate of Social Work degree from Simmons University in 2023. I work with individuals from various walks of life who are 18 years old and over. The therapeutic relationship is one of the most important factors when it comes to the potential success of therapy. I work hard to build a trusting relationship and am intentional about creating a comfortable and safe space. My approach to therapy is solution-focused, goal-oriented, client-centered, and trauma-informed. Goals and treatment objectives will be discussed and outlined collaboratively. As a therapist and a patient, we are a team with assigned roles and expectations. We will work together to help you achieve autonomy and relief within your individual circumstances.

Do participating providers pay us?

To make our site free for consumers, Psych Hub receives fees from provider groups, networks, or individual providers to connect with potential clients who are a fit for their services. Some also purchase Psych Hub's educational content for practitioner training and client support. These fees enable us to operate our service, including screening and updating information on each provider.

How do we determine which ones to display?

Rather than make specific provider recommendations, we present options and information so you can make an informed decision on what provider best fits your needs. Where we have multiple participating providers, we present multiple options (and where we don't, we prioritize adding more options to our site over time). We present providers whose capabilities, insurance coverage, availability and other attributes best match your stated needs. If many providers appear to equally meet your needs, we display a selection of them at random. Our decision on which participating providers to display is never impacted by the amount of fees we receive from them.

What causes us to remove providers from our site?

We require that providers meet all licensing requirements of states where they offer services. If a provider loses their license, they are removed from our site for that state or service. We also seek feedback from users on providers they find on our site. We investigate significant negative feedback and remove providers if we conclude that to be appropriate.
