I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor since 2012. I utilize a client centered approach in assisting my clients to remove barriers preventing them from living their best life. I utilize a variety of tools and encourage my clients to practice self-advocacy and be an active participant in decision making in their therapy. After all you are the expert on you. I have over a decade of experience providing person-centered counseling. I believe her job as a counselor is to partner with clients and assist them remove barriers that prevent them from living their best life. I am versed in working with a wide range of populations with different diagnoses including ADHD, anxiety, PTSD, depression, and attachment disorders. She is trained in CBT, DBT, EMDR, and Certified in Brainspotting. I like to build relationship my clients and believe that the clients are the experts and not me. I encourage my clients to practice being advocates for themselves with me by being proactive in their therapy, I have a weird sense of humor which comes out, despite my efforts to restrain it.

To make our site free for consumers, providers on Psych Hub receivespay fees from provider groups, networks, or individual providers to connect with potential clients who are a fit for their services. Some also purchase Psych Hub's educational content for practitioner training and client support. These fees enable us to operate our service, including screening and updating information on each provider.

How do we determine which ones to display?

Rather than make specific provider recommendations, we present options and information so you can make an informed decision on what provider best fits your needs. Where we have multiple participating providers, we present multiple options (and where we don't, we prioritize adding more options to our site over time). We present providers whose capabilities, insurance coverage, availability and other attributes best match your stated needs. If many providers appear to equally meet your needs, we display a selection of them at random. Our decision on which participating providers to display is never impacted by the amount of fees we receive from them.

What causes us to remove providers from our site?

We require that providers meet all licensing requirements of states where they offer services. If a provider loses their license, they are removed from our site for that state or service. We also seek feedback from users on providers they find on our site. We investigate significant negative feedback and remove providers if we conclude that to be appropriate.
