My name is Lynette Maggs and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida. I specialize in areas such as the welfare of children and families, those experiencing anxiety, depression, abuse/neglect, parenting difficulties, addiction, stress, loss, and the day-to-day hurdles each of us face in life. I earned my master's degree from Liberty University. I have been practicing in the field for the past 22 years. I believe humor is essential as we face our hurdles in life. I would describe my approach as empathetic, warm, goal oriented, and client centered. I use Cognitive Behavioral therapy, as well as Client Focused therapy as the basis to my therapeutic approach to help set goals and objectives, work through traumas, and feel empowered once goals have been met. Individuals will walk away from sessions feeling heard and have gathered resources to utilize in their own day to day healing process. Goals and outcomes will be set from the onset of sessions and will be reviewed and re-assessed throughout the therapeutic process.

How do we determine which ones to display?

Rather than make specific provider recommendations, we present options and information so you can make an informed decision on what provider best fits your needs. Where we have multiple participating providers, we present multiple options (and where we don't, we prioritize adding more options to our site over time). We present providers whose capabilities, insurance coverage, availability and other attributes best match your stated needs. If many providers appear to equally meet your needs, we display a selection of them at random. Our decision on which participating providers to display is never impacted by the amount of fees we receive from them.

What causes us to remove providers from our site?

We require that providers meet all licensing requirements of states where they offer services. If a provider loses their license, they are removed from our site for that state or service. We also seek feedback from users on providers they find on our site. We investigate significant negative feedback and remove providers if we conclude that to be appropriate.
