This is my second career after returning to finish my BS in Psychology and MA in Counseling after 30 years doing all things 'office'. I graduated in 2019 and have been enjoying my professional relationships with clients since then. I draw interventions from several therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral and Solution-Focused therapies, to individualize my attention to each client. I am pretty laid-back, conversational and relatable in sessions. I will ask for clients to think about or try new things to follow up with, and occasionally will give handouts with some homework when the client shows a need for them. Hopefully, a renewed sense of hope and growing optimism that things can change and get better, that they can have more control where they feel they need it.

We present providers whose capabilities, insurance coverage, availability and other attributes best match your stated needs. If many providers appear to equally meet your needs, we display a selection of them at random. Our decision on which participating providers to display is never impacted by the amount of fees we receive from them.

What causes us to remove providers from our site?

We require that providers meet all licensing requirements of states where they offer services. If a provider loses their license, they are removed from our site for that state or service. We also seek feedback from users on providers they find on our site. We investigate significant negative feedback and remove providers if we conclude that to be appropriate.
