I have more than three years of experience working with children, teens, and adults as a therapist. I provide individual and family therapy to address clinical issues relating to trauma, self image, behavioral and relationship challenges, substance use, and suicidal ideation. As a clinician, I strive to be supportive, openminded, and authentic. I understand that healing takes time and always try to meet you where you are, rather than taking a ‘one size fits all’ approach to therapy. I also recognize the value in approaching therapy from a wholistic perspective that addresses physical, mental, emotional, and cultural barriers to healing. I utilize an integrative approach to combine the evidence-based practices of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with a Person-Centered approach to client care. Using this model, we'll take time to build a strong foundation for therapy based on mutual trust before exploring how your thoughts, feelings, and past experiences affect your current behaviors and relationships. After a session with me, I want you to feel heard, understood, and supported. You'll have space to process challenging situations and discuss strategies for coping with life stressors.
