Letting someone in on our struggles is how we show compassion to ourselves. Through the understanding of our experiences and humanness and a willingness to change our perspectives, we learn to grow. My specialties include trauma, working with children, addiction, family members affected by addiction, mood disorders (depression/anxiety), and para-suicidal and self-injurious behaviors. Change is difficult, but very beautiful. Everything that breaks you, gives you the chance to rebuild.

Rather than make specific provider recommendations, we present options and information so you can make an informed decision on what provider best fits your needs. Where we have multiple participating providers, we present multiple options (and where we don't, we prioritize adding more options to our site over time). We present providers whose capabilities, insurance coverage, availability and other attributes best match your stated needs. If many providers appear to equally meet your needs, we display a selection of them at random. Our decision on which participating providers to display is never impacted by the amount of fees we receive from them.

We require that providers meet all licensing requirements of states where they offer services. If a provider loses their license, they are removed from our site for that state or service.
