Marie Hoffman
My graduate studies were in the holistic (integrative or mind-body) program at Lesley University, Cambridge, MA, as well as the Benson-Henry Mind-Body and Stress Reduction Training. I began my career in agencies treating addictions in Haverhill, MA and have had a private practice in Newburyport, MA since 2012. With a compassionate and non-judgmental, yet direct style, I work with adults and couples struggling with trauma, low self esteem, relationship difficulties, stress, anxiety. depression, life transitions and addictions. The modalities I use include addressing negative, limiting beliefs about yourself that are holding you back, supporting habit changes through self-care and self-calming practices, parts work and EMDR. Through the collaborative process, clients develop healthier self-care, mindfulness and self-calming skills and practices. I am always honored to share the journey of clients' self-discovery as they learn to trust their own inner guidance and begin to experience greater self-reliance and joy.
