My undergraduate Degree is in Physical Education/English from the University of Texas/Arlington. I find that my teaching and coaching experience has greatly enhanced my skills as a counselor/therapist. I connect easily with people and gain their trust rather quickly and am able to teach them and motivate them to become their very best. I have a very eclectic approach to therapy. I have to see what the client resonates with then offer that for them. I believe every person deserves to be safe and happy and i give my very best to help them achieve this. When you are raised in a dysfunctional home or have experienced abuse and/or trauma the inner child, the keeper of the feelings often shows up to add a wrinkle to your present life. It is necessary to connect with the inner child and do some healing work in order to be happy in your present life. Sometimes it is hard but the end result is a completely happy person, comfortable in their own skin and in control of their emotions.
