Hello! My name is Marti Smith and I’m a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Ohio (Go Bucks!). I have my Masters in the Science of Nursing from Walden University and a Bachelors in the Science of Nursing from Ohio University. I’ve been working in the mental health arena for 10 years and got my advanced practice license in 2020. My personal philosophy for treatment is that the whole patient must always be cared for. In order to assist someone on their journey to healing empathy, understanding, and connection are so important. We will work off of an individualized treatment plan that will ensure your goals are at the forefront of your treatment. Our main priority is your mental health and overall well-being.

Do participating providers pay us?

To make our site free for consumers, Psych Hub receives fees from provider groups, networks, or individual providers to connect with potential clients who are a fit for their services. Some also purchase Psych Hub's educational content for practitioner training and client support. These fees enable us to operate our service, including screening and updating information on each provider.

How do we determine which ones to display?

Rather than make specific provider recommendations, we present options and information so you can make an informed decision on what provider best fits your needs. Where we have multiple participating providers, we present multiple options (and where we don't, we prioritize adding more options to our site over time). We present providers whose capabilities, insurance coverage, availability and other attributes best match your stated needs. If many providers appear to equally meet your needs, we display a selection of them at random. Our decision on which participating providers to display is never impacted by the amount of fees we receive from them.

What causes us to remove providers from our site?

We require that providers meet all licensing requirements of states where they offer services. If a provider loses their license, they are removed from our site for that state or service. We also seek feedback from users on providers they find on our site. We investigate significant negative feedback and remove providers if we conclude that to be appropriate.
