I have experience working with adolescents, teens, and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, grief, and substance dependency. I like to focus on my client's strengths and values to help them see their full potential and enrich their life. I utilize Person Centered Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing to best serve my client's needs. Through education, experience, and empathy, I practice with objectivity and consideration of everybody's personal values, beliefs, world views, and experiences. I would like my clients to identify what their concerns are, what they would like to change, devise a plan using their strengths, values, and beliefs, and encourage them to work towards living the best life that they would like to live.

How do we determine which ones to display?

Rather than make specific provider recommendations, we present options and information so you can make an informed decision on what provider best fits your needs. Where we have multiple participating providers, we present multiple options (and where we don't, we prioritize adding more options to our site over time). We present providers whose capabilities, insurance coverage, availability and other attributes best match your stated needs. If many providers appear to equally meet your needs, we display a selection of them at random. Our decision on which participating providers to display is never impacted by the amount of fees we receive from them.

What causes us to remove providers from our site?

We require that providers meet all licensing requirements of states where they offer services. If a provider loses their license, they are removed from our site for that state or service. We also seek feedback from users on providers they find on our site. We investigate significant negative feedback and remove providers if we conclude that to be appropriate.
