Hi, my name is Mary (Mari) DeRienzo and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the states of New Jersey and Arizona. I have over 35+ years of experience working with diverse populations : teens, LBGTQI+, relationship and family conflict. My experience also includes extensive work treating individuals who have compulsive sexual disorders. My theraputic approach combines a psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioral approach. I will tailor our dialog and treatment goals tooo meet your own unique and specific needs. I believe that it is so important for you to have a voice and be active in your own treatment. It takes a great deal of courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life. I applaud you for taking the first steps toward making change, and I am here to support and help empower you. My therapeutic style is comfortable and interactive. I am an active listener and believe in treating all people with compassion and empathy. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without any stigma,or fear of judgment.

Do participating providers pay us?

To make our site free for consumers, Psych Hub receives fees from provider groups, networks, or individual providers to connect with potential clients who are a fit for their services. Some also purchase Psych Hub's educational content for practitioner training and client support. How do we determine which ones to display?

Rather than make specific provider recommendations, we present options and information so you can make an informed decision on what provider best fits your needs. Where we have multiple participating providers, we present multiple options (and where we don't, we prioritize adding more options to our site over time). We present providers whose capabilities, insurance coverage, availability and other attributes best match your stated needs. If many providers appear to equally meet your needs, we display a selection of them at random. Our decision on which participating providers to display is never impacted by the amount of fees we receive from them.

What causes us to remove providers from our site?

We require that providers meet all licensing requirements of states where they offer services. If a provider loses their license, they are removed from our site for that state or service. We also seek feedback from users on providers they find on our site. We investigate significant negative feedback and remove providers if we conclude that to be appropriate.
