I strive to create a safe and warm space for you to feel comfortable sharing your experience and feelings. We will start by thinking about your goals for therapy and what you are hoping to gain as a couple Therapy is often seen as a journey, and each person's journey is unique. I view myself as a guide, but not "the expert," because you are the expert on your life, and you will decide where your therapeutic journey takes you. In my work with clients, I draw from various evidence-based practices, including CBT, DBT, EMDR, and others. Most importantly, I tailor my approach to each individual's needs in the work I do with clients. We will work to figure out the cycle that keeps you distant and find ways to close that space and come closer together. We all have times in our lives when we need someone compassionate and non-judgmental to talk with. Making the decision to begin therapy is a healthy step toward growth and creating long-term, positive changes in your life.
