Melissa Osada has a career in healthcare that spans 37 years with the past 11 years as a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP- BC). She is licensed in the state of Texas providing evidence-based treatment and individualized, comprehensive and compassionate care for persons ages 18 and older with mild to severe/persistent psychiatric and mental health issues. Melissa graduated from Gonzaga University in 2011. She was a RN in the U. S. Army from 1996 to 2004. Melissa provides a personal and empathetic approach to managing mental health concerns such as depression, anxiety, bipolar, post-traumatic stress disorder, and schizophrenia. She leverages strong critical thinking and knowledge of assessment and diagnostics to provide exceptional care while at the same time successfully building relationships with patients. Melissa’s goal is to make every patient feel connected, heard, and cared for as an individual. She believes that every human life has inherent worth. And that every person should be treated with respect, understanding, and compassion to empower them to create a life worth living.
