My name is Mike, and I have been practicing psychotherapy since 2001. I have a history of working with a variety of people across backgrounds and cultures, and who have struggled with many issues within themselves, relationships, and through their occupation. I am passionate about helping my clients improve their lives and relationships. I am certified in Imago Relationship Therapy, and that is my foundation for working with couples. I use a Cognitive Behavioral approach and combine it with neurology, Attachment Theory, and Radical Acceptance to help my clients improve their quality of life. I want my clients to leave sessions with a greater understanding of themselves and their relationships. My clients will also receive new tools and skills to help manage the challenges that bring them to therapy.

Rather than make specific provider recommendations, we present options and information so you can make an informed decision on what provider best fits your needs. Where we have multiple participating providers, we present multiple options (and where we don't, we prioritize adding more options to our site over time). We present providers whose capabilities, insurance coverage, availability and other attributes best match your stated needs. If many providers appear to equally meet your needs, we display a selection of them at random. Our decision on which participating providers to display is never impacted by the amount of fees we receive from them.

What is the relationship between Psych Hub and these providers?

The providers listed on our site are all independent entities from Psych Hub. We have a contractual relationship with each provider that governs the terms of their participation on the site, and in some cases, as mentioned above, their use of Psych Hub's educational content. What causes us to remove providers from our site?

We require that providers meet all licensing requirements of states where they offer services. If a provider loses their license, they are removed from our site for that state or service. We also seek feedback from users on providers they find on our site. We investigate significant negative feedback and remove providers if we conclude that to be appropriate.
