My practice is all about improving self-awareness, self-control, and resiliency. I also focus on strengthening overall family connection and support. I use an eclectic blend of evidence-based theories and experiential practice. That means using the best of science in ways that are real, relevant and in-the-moment. My practice approach is basically “Humanistic” and “reality-based.” This fundamental approach brings us to a place of honesty, respect and compassionate care for ourselves and for each other. Most importantly, this lays the foundation for healthy, natural and lasting modification and change, whether personal, interpersonal or even intergenerational. I believe CBT and DBT are good starting models, which provides the best systematic approach toward healthy modification and change. Your take-away from the first session onward will be a boost of hope and confidence, that as your experienced therapist I will assist you in further discovering your true voice and self. And this is your first vital step toward resetting and reorienting, taking action, healing, and living more for today and into your future. .
