I have six years of clinical mental health experience. I have experience working in a correctional facility, with hospitals, and predominantly with clients within the community. My experience ranges from providing treatment for clients with severe and persistent mental illness, trauma, anxiety, substance use, etc. I have a bachelor of arts degree in psychology, and a master of science degree in mental health counseling. I am a licensed mental health counselor, licensed in the state of New York. My goal is to assist you in pointing your trajectory for quality of life as high as possible. I understand, firsthand, how difficult it can be to maneuver the pitfalls of life, particularly when you haven't been equipped with the psychological/social resources and tools needed. Do participating providers pay us?

To make our site free for consumers, Psych Hub receives fees from provider groups, networks, or individual providers to connect with potential clients who are a fit for their services. How do we determine which ones to display?

Rather than make specific provider recommendations, we present options and information so you can make an informed decision on what provider best fits your needs. Where we have multiple participating providers, we present multiple options (and where we don't, we prioritize adding more options to our site over time). We present providers whose capabilities, insurance coverage, availability and other attributes best match your stated needs. If many providers appear to equally meet your needs, we display a selection of them at random. Our decision on which participating providers to display is never impacted by the amount of fees we receive from them.

What causes us to remove providers from our site?

We require that providers meet all licensing requirements of states where they offer services. If a provider loses their license, they are removed from our site for that state or service. We also seek feedback from users on providers they find on our site. We investigate significant negative feedback and remove providers if we conclude that to be appropriate.
