I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and an Advanced Hypnotherapist. I am an empath, a good listener, offer a toolbox of coping strategies. I offer psychoeducation and bibliotherapy and referrals to support groups such as Al-Anon, Co-Dependents Anonymous, and Grief Support Groups as I specialize in Co-Dependency, grief and loss, anxiety and depression. I work with children, adolescents and adults. I was trained in family systems approach, brief therapy, co-dependency and addictions, advanced Hypnotherapy. I assess the clients' needs and apply approaches and techniques which best meet their needs. I teach communication techniques such as active listening to improve communication and I use a humanistic/empathic approach. I assign homework, bibliotherapy, and use psychoeducation, reality therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Clients can expect to learn new coping strategies, a broader education about psychology, themselves, their feelings and learn how to manage their feelings They will learn how to focus on their needs without feeling shame or guilt, i.e. good self-care. They will gain self- confidence, self-esteem, better boundaries, leave toxic relationships and create healthier relationships/lifestyle including with themselves.
