I’ve worked with individuals, couples, and families in an outpatient behavioral health office, at local schools, and have provided consultation with my client’s preferred collateral contacts. I believe in taking a collaborative approach with my clients to help them with life changes, ineffective behaviors, grief and loss, conflict, trauma, emotional distress, and relationship difficulties. I want to assist my clients with the ability of identifying triggers of emotional distress, problem solving ability to manage life circumstances, and strategies to improve their mood and behaviors.

To make our site free for consumers, providers on Psych Hub pay fees to connect with potential clients who are a fit for their services. How do we determine which ones to display?

Rather than make specific provider recommendations, we present options and information so you can make an informed decision on what provider best fits your needs. Where we have multiple participating providers, we present multiple options (and where we don't, we prioritize adding more options to our site over time). We present providers whose capabilities, insurance coverage, availability and other attributes best match your stated needs. If many providers appear to equally meet your needs, we display a selection of them at random. Our decision on which participating providers to display is never impacted by the amount of fees we receive from them.

What causes us to remove providers from our site?

We require that providers meet all licensing requirements of states where they offer services. If a provider loses their license, they are removed from our site for that state or service. We also seek feedback from users on providers they find on our site. We investigate significant negative feedback and remove providers if we conclude that to be appropriate.
