As a doctoral-prepared, dual board-certified psychiatric mental health and adult gerontology acute care nurse practitioner, I believe prioritizing mental health is key to self-care, happiness and success. Congratulations on taking that step! I’ve been practicing for several years with my main focus on clients who are struggling with anxiety, depression and PTSD. Everyone deserves an individualized approach to care. Once we decide to work together, we will develop a partnership on your therapeutic journey. Open communication and respect are mandatory in our relationship. I will be your listening ear, challenge you, and support you along the way. I always start with an introductory session, where you will have the opportunity to share your story and what you hope to achieve in therapy. We will then work together to figure this out! I strive to create a warm, welcoming environment that allows you to feel comfortable sharing and being vulnerable, while also feeling secure. From there, we will work together in the sessions that follow to make these goals a reality for you.

Rather than make specific provider recommendations, we present options and information so you can make an informed decision on what provider best fits your needs. Where we have multiple participating providers, we present multiple options (and where we don't, we prioritize adding more options to our site over time). We present providers whose capabilities, insurance coverage, availability and other attributes best match your stated needs. If many providers appear to equally meet your needs, we display a selection of them at random. Our decision on which participating providers to display is never impacted by the amount of fees we receive from them.

What is the relationship between Psych Hub and these providers?

The providers listed on our site are all independent entities from Psych Hub. We have a contractual relationship with each provider that governs the terms of their participation on the site, and in some cases, as mentioned above, their use of Psych Hub's educational content. What causes us to remove providers from our site?

We require that providers meet all licensing requirements of states where they offer services. If a provider loses their license, they are removed from our site for that state or service. We also seek feedback from users on providers they find on our site. We investigate significant negative feedback and remove providers if we conclude that to be appropriate.
