Nina Respeto
I graduated from the University of Denver with a Master’s Degree in Social Work. When I am not working I am spending time in the mountains with my dog or re-watching Harry Potter for the billionth time! I specialize in helping those trapped in unhelpful patterns of self-talk, relationships, or habits. If negative thoughts and feelings are holding you back, I can assist. I believe, "Pain is inevitable, suffering is optional," meaning we can choose how to respond and build a fulfilling life. My approach involves aligning your life with your values and embracing all parts of yourself. Let’s work together to break these patterns and embrace your true self. I aim to support and empower you towards a meaningful life through a genuine therapeutic relationship and evidence-based practices like Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. With experience in anxiety, grief, and chronic depression, I can help you learn to manage troubling thoughts and feelings using mindfulness. I provide a safe, compassionate space to explore your feelings, find healing, and work toward your goals. Reach out to start your journey towards growth and healing.
