Olivia Louko
I have an LICSW and graduated from the University of Washington Master of Social Work program. My experience has been in community mental health and private practice therapy. I am a transracial adoptee and part of the LGBTQ+ community. I enjoy hiking, eating good food, and spending time with my dog. I work with individuals and families who are going through various experiences including depression, anxiety, intergenerational trauma, relationship issues, as well as life transitions and decisions. In our sessions I will extend empathy and engage in active listening to better understand you. I believe people already possess what they need to heal, but systems of oppression and trauma can obscure internal strengths. Internalized oppression and deep emotions can take over and control everyday life. By taking an anti-racist, decolonized, and trauma informed approach, therapy will help to reveal the health, strength and power that is already within. As we move through life we encounter experiences and systems that shape us in different ways. In our time together we will look at what has shaped your life. We will move at your pace and focus on your goals.
