"Pamela Schumaker is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC/MHSP) with nearly a decade of experience helping individuals navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and life stressors. She takes a client-centered approach, prioritizing strong therapeutic relationships and providing a supportive, collaborative environment where clients feel heard and empowered. Pamela utilizes an eclectic, evidence-based approach tailored to each client’s needs. She incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Mindfulness-Based Therapy to help clients develop coping strategies, improve emotional regulation, and build resilience. She believes that small steps lead to meaningful change and works closely with clients to create personalized treatment plans aligned with their goals. With experience in outpatient, in-home, and residential treatment settings, Pamela is skilled in supporting diverse populations, including single mothers and survivors of trauma and abuse. She is dedicated to fostering a safe and nonjudgmental space for healing and growth. Outside of her practice, Pamela enjoys spending time with her family, driving her Jeep, and relaxing at the beach. She is passionate about continuous learning and remains committed to providing high-quality, evidence-based mental health care."
