I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Based out of Florida. I have been practicing for over 15 years, working with children, adolescents, couples, adults, and families. I have experience in the inpatient and outpatient settings. I have also provided substance abuse treatment, and worked with adolescents and adults in the criminal justice system. Eclectic therapy is a great way to work with client without having a preplanned strategy in place. It allows you to go with the flow, and follow the client's lead in many ways. I think this can help with the client's receptiveness to treatment, as they may feel some sense of autonomy or understanding early on in the treatment process. My greatest strength as a practitioner is my understanding of the human experience. I understand the uniqueness of the client/practitioner relationship, while recognizing the importance of seeing the client as a human first.

Do participating providers pay us?

To make our site free for consumers, Psych Hub receives fees from provider groups, networks, or individual providers to connect with potential clients who are a fit for their services. How do we determine which ones to display?

Rather than make specific provider recommendations, we present options and information so you can make an informed decision on what provider best fits your needs. Where we have multiple participating providers, we present multiple options (and where we don't, we prioritize adding more options to our site over time). We present providers whose capabilities, insurance coverage, availability and other attributes best match your stated needs. If many providers appear to equally meet your needs, we display a selection of them at random. Our decision on which participating providers to display is never impacted by the amount of fees we receive from them.

What causes us to remove providers from our site?

We require that providers meet all licensing requirements of states where they offer services. If a provider loses their license, they are removed from our site for that state or service. We also seek feedback from users on providers they find on our site. We investigate significant negative feedback and remove providers if we conclude that to be appropriate.
