I have been working with children, adolescents, and families for many years, both in school and clinical settings. My degree is in Clinical Psychology and trauma studies, with a background in literature and Buddhist practice. I am a skilled group leader and offer groups for Autistic adults, children 10-14 with social issues, and training in Buddhist Psychology. I start with our developing trust, and learning your story and your strengths. I've worked with a wide variety of people and know from experience everyone has profound strengths that can be brought to almost any situation. Developing self-awareness within other relationships is also key to good mental health. A sense that we are team and that I will help them advocate for their needs, develop goals, and build the skills necessary for progress.

Rather than make specific provider recommendations, we present options and information so you can make an informed decision on what provider best fits your needs. Where we have multiple participating providers, we present multiple options (and where we don't, we prioritize adding more options to our site over time). We present providers whose capabilities, insurance coverage, availability and other attributes best match your stated needs. If many providers appear to equally meet your needs, we display a selection of them at random. Our decision on which participating providers to display is never impacted by the amount of fees we receive from them.

What causes us to remove providers from our site?

We require that providers meet all licensing requirements of states where they offer services. If a provider loses their license, they are removed from our site for that state or service. We also seek feedback from users on providers they find on our site. We investigate significant negative feedback and remove providers if we conclude that to be appropriate.
