Raymond Mizer
I am married with 2 adult children and 3 grandchildren. I previously worked for 30 Years with CDOC and retired in 2016 as the manager of a sub-program. One of the most influential assignments I had was in Forensics for the CDOC. I enjoyed it and was incentivized to finish my education in mental health. I received my master's in 1993. I then managed the maximum administrative segregation portion of a forensic prison. Once I retired I transitioned back to community mental health. I provided group and individual sessions to half-way house inmates. I also started working as a mentor and mental health coach with adolescents. I am currently in MAT and expanding my horizons as I feel I have a message that resonates with clients. I am reality based, structured therapy as Brief Therapy intervention and a life coach teaching that it is the small things done consistently that lead to change and well being. I believe that we live in the moment and to strive always for positive micro movement.
