Rex Burington
Hello. I have had the honor and privilege to serve a wide range of people for more than 10 years. My training began with an MA in Integral Counseling from the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS). Later training focused in the areas of trauma in adults and children, Feminist therapy, Gestalt therapy and County mental health. I am multi-cultural and bilingual serving both English and Spanish speaking populations. My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative and empowering. Creation of a highly trusting and safe working container is top priority. I have a speciality in Internal Family Systems Therapy as an "IFS Informed" therapist. I also hold a national credential in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) for children and adolescents. Finally, I feel a strong personal affinity with systems work to grow harmony in couples and families. Please expect to take away newly gained insights into yourself. Clients frequently report feeling encouraged and empowered in sessions with me.
