Hello, I am Robert and I have been a licensed professional counselor in the state of Texas since 2020. Over the course of my career, I have worked in jails, behavioral health hospitals, and private clinics. My goal as a therapist is to empower my clients by showing them how to utilize coping skills and techniques that they will learn over the course of treatment.What I want the clients to take away from sessions with me is that they have a therapist who is an advocate for their well-being, and who will show them the skills to control the symptoms they are experiencing. The goal for my clients is to teach the skills and techniques that they can use over the course of their lifetime after they feel they are finished with therapy.

Where we have multiple participating providers, we present multiple options (and where we don't, we prioritize adding more options to our site over time). We present providers whose capabilities, insurance coverage, availability and other attributes best match your stated needs. If many providers appear to equally meet your needs, we display a selection of them at random. Our decision on which participating providers to display is never impacted by the amount of fees we receive from them.

What is the relationship between Psych Hub and these providers?

The providers listed on our site are all independent entities from Psych Hub. We have a contractual relationship with each provider that governs the terms of their participation on the site, and in some cases, as mentioned above, their use of Psych Hub's educational content. There is no other affiliation between Psych Hub and the providers listed on our site.

What causes us to remove providers from our site?

We require that providers meet all licensing requirements of states where they offer services. If a provider loses their license, they are removed from our site for that state or service. We also seek feedback from users on providers they find on our site. We investigate significant negative feedback and remove providers if we conclude that to be appropriate.
