Ruby Whitman has more than 30 years of experience, counseling families, couples and individuals. As a school social worker, she worked with parents of developmentally disabled students, helping them with transition planning from school to the adult world. She has led groups with older parents of grown children with future planning. In addition, she performed homestudies for prospective adoptive parents. It is my belief that forming a trusting, supportive and honest relationship with clients is key. Treatment modalities are utilized according to the symptom picture presented. Forward movement is predicated on agreed upon goals and objectives. By active listening and creating a non-threatening environment, goals are created by the client which would result in realistic outcomes.

What causes us to remove providers from our site?

We require that providers meet all licensing requirements of states where they offer services. If a provider loses their license, they are removed from our site for that state or service.
