Salma Soliman
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over a decade of experience in individual and group therapy. My passion lies in providing a safe and nurturing environment for adolescents, families, and young adults to explore their authentic selves and uncover their strengths. As a person with a marginalized identity, I understand the challenges of navigating cultural stigma around mental health care. My journey of self-exploration and healing led me to become a person others could rely on, recognizing the immense value of having supportive spaces. I understand the importance of safe spaces, which inspired me to pursue a career in therapy. I am deeply grateful to walk alongside my clients on their healing journeys, providing the support and guidance they need. I base my practice on a foundation of evidence-based treatments, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Family-Based Treatment, and Radically Open Dialectical Behavior Therapy. With specialized training in treating eating disorders, anxiety, depression, and trauma, I work collaboratively with my clients to create personalized treatment plans that promote healing and growth.
