Living is hard, and in this fast-paced world, so is having someone to confide in who helps you grow and become resilient. Life is inherently fraught with difficulties as each stage presents us with obstacles and new experiences that mold us into the versions of ourselves that we become. Along the way, we are held down by patterns of our past and expectations that don't do us justice. It is here where therapy is beneficial. I strive to provide education via collaborative exploration and narrative, bringing into awareness what our minds keep tucked away but which keeps holding us back. Through this collaborative and educational approach, awareness and insight is increased which better prepares clients for roads ahead. Through this collaborative process, coping skills are taught using various modalities which help undo unproductive and harmful habits. I specialize in treating complex trauma and addressing issues of growth, with an emphasis on seeing oneself past one's diagnosis and troubles and seeing oneself in an integrated, humanistic way. I have trained in interpersonal and relational therapy, CBT, trauma, motivational interviewing and existential therapy. I have over seven years of experience working with individuals who have mood disorders, trauma, personality disorders, anxiety, relationship difficulties, attachment problems and professional issues. My work spans the personal and familial to the occupational, seeking to help individuals heal their whole selves.
