I am a clinical social worker with over 10 years of experience providing mental health treatment in hospital based inpatient and outpatient programs and in private practice. I work with people looking to gain insight into their own behaviors and who want to gain skills to address their challenges. I have a specialty in psychoanalytic psychotherapy but I approach the therapy needs of each client individually and do not provide cookie cutter therapy. I incorporate tools and psychoeducation from relational therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance commitment therapy and mindfulness based therapy. I am thoughtful, creative and supportive in sessions. I always say that the therapy office is "a shelter in the storm," a safe place to be open and to look for solutions.

We present providers whose capabilities, insurance coverage, availability and other attributes best match your stated needs. If many providers appear to equally meet your needs, we display a selection of them at random. Our decision on which participating providers to display is never impacted by the amount of fees we receive from them.

What causes us to remove providers from our site?

We require that providers meet all licensing requirements of states where they offer services. If a provider loses their license, they are removed from our site for that state or service. We also seek feedback from users on providers they find on our site. We investigate significant negative feedback and remove providers if we conclude that to be appropriate.
