Sarah Kluger
Hi there – I'm Sarah and I look forward to meeting you! I received my MA from Regis University in 2019, and came to the field of psychotherapy later in life, after my own experience of loss and grief pushed me to pursue a different path. I work with individuals who are struggling with anxiety, depression, relationships, career, finances, family, spirituality or identity -- or, people who feel stuck in a pattern that just isn’t working. Let's see if we're a good fit for each other! I am a trauma-informed therapist grounded in a person-centered tradition of psychotherapy. That means that I believe the potential for change lies within every person. I will walk alongside you through the process of therapy but ultimately, YOU are the expert on you, and we will proceed at your pace. I specialize in grief counseling and follow the idea of “companioning” the bereaved – being present to and honoring grief rather than treating it like a problem to be solved. Someone once asked me: "who do you think you are, to take away the suffering of another person?" That question shapes my work as a therapist. I don't have a magic wand and I can not take away your suffering. I CAN help you discover ways to cope with your suffering, to allow it to work you so that you grow in a new direction, finding a new way to walk your path through this life.
