
Sarah Munoz
Dr. Sarah Muñoz is a Licensed Psychologist with 10 years of counseling experience in educational and community settings. She attended Hofstra University in Long Island, NY for her graduate training, and has worked in university, primary/secondary school and community mental health clinic settings since that time. Dr. Muñoz has worked extensively with a wide variety of mental health concerns, including depression, anxiety, autism, ADHD, substance use, and personality disorders. Dr. Muñoz ascribes to a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy orientation, but also regularly incorporates strategies from Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy, and solution-focused therapy to support clients. Dr. Muñoz is a strong advocate of all aspects of positive psychology, including mindfulness and health psychology, and believes that life enrichment is an integral part of the therapeutic process. Dr. Muñoz ensures each client is seen and acknowledged. Client will feel validated, supported, and informed following each session. Dr. Muñoz combines this approach with concrete, actionable skill development in order to help clients make positive change in their lives.
