If we can improve our physical health, so can our mental health. Clients describe me as authentic, compassionate and empathetic. I specialize in young professionals and late adolescence age group, often on depression, anxiety/stress, and relationship issue. I also work closely with families with young children with behavioral issues or intellectual disabilities. I am trained and deeply rooted in strength-based approach like Solution Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Positive Psychology. I use a combination of CBT, DBT while weaving in mindfulness based on each individual's need, strengths, challenges, learning style and goals. I believe in not just focusing on the difficulties and issues, but also building skills and capacity in preparation of future challenges. I believe each person holds the key to success and therapy is a form of guiding process to achieve these goals in life. Thus, I focus on empowering individuals and gaining further insight and understanding. We work collaboratively on building on solutions to move forward in life and elevate you to a more positive life style in general.
