I obtained my masters degree in counseling from WTAMU in 2020. I have worked at a local mental health authority setting, in private practice, and at a counseling center. These have all helped me to learn how to be a better therapist in different ways since they are all different settings. I work with children and adults, specializing in trauma work and anxiety. I approach my work with the understanding that each individual brings a unique story, life experience, and personal resiliency. I look forward to the opportunity to walk alongside you in re-wiring the thoughts and beliefs shaped by past experiences, and to identify how they impact your current life. My goal is to create a warm and supportive atmosphere that fosters the therapeutic process, as you move toward a life that feels more fulfilling. My therapeutic style is grounded in a trauma-informed perspective, offering unconditional support and compassionate care. I primarily use EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), and CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy). While I specialize in trauma, I also provide support in other areas. After sessions with me I hope clients gain a sense of peace and healing. I like to give homework as well, so that clients have something new and different to try between sessions.
