Dr John is originally from Chicago. She obtained her BA in Psychology from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts. She then obtained her Medical Degree from American University of Antigua and did her medical school rotations through the US. She completed her General Psychiatry residency at Larkin Community Hospital in Miami, FL. She then completed her fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at University of Florida in Gainesville, FL where she served as Chief Fellow. Dr. Sheena John is a psychiatrist who specializes in treating Adults, Children, and Adolescence. She believes in the importance of early intervention when treating mental and physical illnesses and understands the obstacles that can arise when seeking care. She strives to provide a safe, comfortable, and therapeutic environment. She enjoys combining medication and lifestyle changes to help patients’ improve their life.     In her free time, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her dog. .

If many providers appear to equally meet your needs, we display a selection of them at random. What causes us to remove providers from our site?

We require that providers meet all licensing requirements of states where they offer services. If a provider loses their license, they are removed from our site for that state or service. We also seek feedback from users on providers they find on our site. We investigate significant negative feedback and remove providers if we conclude that to be appropriate.
