I consider how mind, body, and spirit interconnect in each client's unique journey. I utilize cognitive-behavioral techniques and mindfulness practices to help clients develop present-moment awareness and effective coping strategies. I have experience working with children and adolescents in the school & community setting. I have also worked with couples, families, and elderly populations during my internship. I approach counseling from an eclectic perspective, with a strong foundation in cognitive-behavioral techniques. I believe in meeting clients where they are in their journey, and creating a safe and judgment-free environment where they can feel comfortable sharing their experiences. Building a strong therapeutic relationship is my primary focus in the early stages, as this creates the foundation for meaningful progress. I provide a safe place for clients to explore issues in a judgment-free environment. I believe it is important to build a strong client-centered relationship in the beginning to set the foundation for change and growth to occur. Taking a holistic approach, I consider how mind, body, and spirit interconnect in each client's unique journey. I utilize cognitive-behavioral techniques and mindfulness practices to help clients develop present-moment awareness and effective coping strategies. Various tools, including genograms, help clients explore how generational patterns and family dynamics may influence their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Through this comprehensive approach, we work together to develop insights and strategies that support their personal growth, healing, and overall well-being.
