Hi, I am Sonya Mentz and I would love the opportunity to work with you to increase self-awareness to build your self-esteem to become the person you desire.  I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia.  I graduated from Walden University with a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Life gets hard sometimes, and it is ok to need help.  Gaining a deeper understanding of yourself can help you to bring about lasting change to create the life you dream of.  I want to work with you to develop a deeper understanding to enable you to break patterns and develop the skills you need to handle whatever life brings you. It is vital to love oneself and be willing to have unconditional positive self -regard. I desire to help you gain insight into you so that your future is brighter, and you are stronger in knowing who you are.  Yes, we all think we have flaws but sometimes what we think are flaws are strengths hidden by biases and once we understand them a whole new perspective is unveiled.   The first step is the hardest but after that I will be there for you each step of the process.  .

The care options presented consist of treatment providers that we have assessed to be quality providers across a range of services for mental health, substance use, relationships, and other well-being needs. We aim to include only high quality providers and multiple viable options for those seeking care.

Do participating providers pay us?

To make our site free for consumers, providers on Psych Hub pay fees to connect with potential clients who are a fit for their services. Some also purchase Psych Hub's educational content for practitioner training and client support. These fees enable us to operate our service, including screening and updating information on each provider.

How do we determine which ones to display?

Rather than make specific provider recommendations, we present options and information so you can make an informed decision on what provider best fits your needs. Where we have multiple participating providers, we present multiple options (and where we don't, we prioritize adding more options to our site over time). We present providers whose capabilities, insurance coverage, availability and other attributes best match your stated needs. If many providers appear to equally meet your needs, we display a selection of them at random. Our decision on which participating providers to display is never impacted by the amount of fees we receive from them.

What is the relationship between Psych Hub and these providers?

The providers listed on our site are all independent entities from Psych Hub. We have a contractual relationship with each provider that governs the terms of their participation on the site, and in some cases, as mentioned above, their use of Psych Hub's educational content. There is no other affiliation between Psych Hub and the providers listed on our site.

What causes us to remove providers from our site?

We require that providers meet all licensing requirements of states where they offer services. If a provider loses their license, they are removed from our site for that state or service. We also seek feedback from users on providers they find on our site. We investigate significant negative feedback and remove providers if we conclude that to be appropriate.
