I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the Atlanta Metro area. As a former teacher, I have over 10 years experience supporting children and families with complex needs in a variety of settings. I am trained in multiple modalities (ARC, DBT, CBT, and TF-CBT) and use an integrative, play based approach in my work with children. I believe strongly in the therapeutic powers of play and believe that play is the most effective way to support children in expressing themselves and processing their emotions and experiences. In addition, I also have specialized training in working with families (Filial Therapy) and working with neurodivergent children (AutPlay). I aim to help children and families find new ways to communicate and manage life stressors to get the family life they desire. I work to create an open, supportive environment where children and families are able to express themselves freely and learn new ways to cope and interact. How do we determine which ones to display?

Rather than make specific provider recommendations, we present options and information so you can make an informed decision on what provider best fits your needs. Where we have multiple participating providers, we present multiple options (and where we don't, we prioritize adding more options to our site over time). We present providers whose capabilities, insurance coverage, availability and other attributes best match your stated needs. If many providers appear to equally meet your needs, we display a selection of them at random. Our decision on which participating providers to display is never impacted by the amount of fees we receive from them.

What is the relationship between Psych Hub and these providers?

The providers listed on our site are all independent entities from Psych Hub. We have a contractual relationship with each provider that governs the terms of their participation on the site, and in some cases, as mentioned above, their use of Psych Hub's educational content. What causes us to remove providers from our site?

We require that providers meet all licensing requirements of states where they offer services. If a provider loses their license, they are removed from our site for that state or service. We also seek feedback from users on providers they find on our site. We investigate significant negative feedback and remove providers if we conclude that to be appropriate.
