I'm sure you're wondering if we would be a good fit, so let me share some more about myself! I am South Asian, a chronic illness warrior, traveller, foodie, dog mom, and storyteller. I've been working in the social work field since 2016. In 2021, while completing my MSW with USF, I transitioned into psychotherapy and found my love for counseling. I am now privileged to support individuals with trauma, chronic illness, anxiety, depression, and so much more. As a therapist, I truly embody a non-judgmental, empathetic approach. You are the expert in your life and you can be assured that your voice will always come first. Through the combination of a trauma-focused, somatic, and psychodynamic approach, your unique journey towards healing and growth will be honored and supported. Together we will figure out what safety looks like for you and I will always do my best to create an environment for you learn and grow within. Through conversation, we will determine your goals for therapy and through this I will create a treatment plan that will guide our work together. Subsequent sessions will be tailored to the goals on your treatment plan. There will always be space for you to unpack current events and things that are weighing on your mind. I will also have something planned for sessions - whether it's an activity, brainspotting, or something else, it will always align with your goals.
