Tami Wollner
My name is Tami Wollner and I am a licensed clinical social worker in Texas and Arkansas. I received my MSW from Saint Louis University. I started my career working in alcohol and drug treatment in 2001. I have since worked in community mental health, and for the Army and Air Force treating service members. I am now a single parent in private practice. I specialize in cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, cognitive processing therapy, and drug and alcohol abuse and addiction. My approach to therapy is building a good relationship, understanding what brought you to seek therapy, and learning about your background. I have spent many years treating trauma and I am trained in several specialities to include EMDR, Prolonged Exposure Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, and Mindfulness. I also use cognitive behavioral therapy because it is highly effective in dealing with depression, anxiety, negative thought processes and a host of other issues. When I work with clients, I see us as a team. It is important that we work together to design your treatment plan, and set goals together. Each week we will revisit your goals and progress made so you are able to see what you have achieved. I want you to feel comfortable with the process and with me as your provider.
