I have 6+ years experience working part time in a fee for service providing psychotherapy to children and families. I have worked in a residential program for geriatric patients who suffer with developmental disabilities. I have experience working with parents in domestic violence relationships who are seeking shelter for their family.  My approach to therapy is collaborative. I aim to provide a safe and nonjudgmental space for you to be open and vulnerable. I believe in transparency and allowing you to have full say in your treatment and I strive to meet you where you are. My treatment utilizes cognitive behavior therapy and strengths based perspective, allowing you to focus on positive skills that that will assist you in achieving your goals. My hope is that you can reach an optimal sense of self which will allow you to navigate life’s stressors and live your best life. If many providers appear to equally meet your needs, we display a selection of them at random. We require that providers meet all licensing requirements of states where they offer services. If a provider loses their license, they are removed from our site for that state or service. We also seek feedback from users on providers they find on our site. We investigate significant negative feedback and remove providers if we conclude that to be appropriate.
