Dr. Therese Korth is a licensed psychologist (PhD). She earned a Bachelors and Masters degrees in Social Work and a doctorate in Psychology from the University of Nebraska. She completed a 2-year post-graduate training program in couples and family therapy from the Menninger Clinic. Fortunate to have practiced in several different settings, Dr. Korth has worked in Texas, Hawaii, Utah, Iowa and Nebraska. Most recently, before moving to Texas, she lived and worked on the Big Island of Hawaii. Due to her extensive and varied training and experience, Dr. Korth is comfortable seeing children, teens, adults, couples and families. She approaches problems from a trauma-informed framework that is solution focused. Her areas of specialization include helping people with ADHD, depression and anxiety find relief now and in the future. Dr. Korth believes in starting where the client is and moving towards not just insight, but lasting behavior change.

How do we determine which ones to display?

Rather than make specific provider recommendations, we present options and information so you can make an informed decision on what provider best fits your needs. Where we have multiple participating providers, we present multiple options (and where we don't, we prioritize adding more options to our site over time). We present providers whose capabilities, insurance coverage, availability and other attributes best match your stated needs. If many providers appear to equally meet your needs, we display a selection of them at random. Our decision on which participating providers to display is never impacted by the amount of fees we receive from them.

What causes us to remove providers from our site?

We require that providers meet all licensing requirements of states where they offer services. If a provider loses their license, they are removed from our site for that state or service. We also seek feedback from users on providers they find on our site. We investigate significant negative feedback and remove providers if we conclude that to be appropriate.
