I am a Clinical Psychologist with 40+ years of experience. I pursued an academic track early in my career with faculty appointments in medical schools. I have been published in professional psychology and medical journals, and have presented both nationally and internationally. I have now pursued private practice for 30 years. I have engaged effectively with diverse populations experiencing a wide array of difficulties. My mission is to provide professional, personal, caring, affordable, empowering, and evidence-based psychological services to my patients, with the additional goal of continually improving the quality of care I provide ongoing monitoring of treatment outcomes. During the initial session I will gather information about your history, in general, and ask specific questions about your reasons for seeking therapy. The initial session is different from subsequent sessions in that I need to gather a lot of information and enter it into your record. In later sessions we will be much more interactive.

Rather than make specific provider recommendations, we present options and information so you can make an informed decision on what provider best fits your needs. Where we have multiple participating providers, we present multiple options (and where we don't, we prioritize adding more options to our site over time). We present providers whose capabilities, insurance coverage, availability and other attributes best match your stated needs. If many providers appear to equally meet your needs, we display a selection of them at random. Our decision on which participating providers to display is never impacted by the amount of fees we receive from them.

What is the relationship between Psych Hub and these providers?

The providers listed on our site are all independent entities from Psych Hub. We have a contractual relationship with each provider that governs the terms of their participation on the site, and in some cases, as mentioned above, their use of Psych Hub's educational content. There is no other affiliation between Psych Hub and the providers listed on our site.

What causes us to remove providers from our site?

We require that providers meet all licensing requirements of states where they offer services. If a provider loses their license, they are removed from our site for that state or service. We also seek feedback from users on providers they find on our site. We investigate significant negative feedback and remove providers if we conclude that to be appropriate.
