Tina Lee
As a multicultural psychologist, I have listened to and worked with people of all ages, genders, racial-ethnic identities, social class, citizen/immigration status who have struggled with emotions, relationships, traumas, addictions, life transitions, as well as questions around identity and belonging in our increasingly complex and global society. I take a holistic mind-body approach where my primary focus is on building a therapeutic relationship of safety and trust between us. In sessions, I integrate psychodynamic, mindfulness, and evidence-based therapies (ACT, CBT, DBT, CPT, Somatic). As a lifelong learner, I also adapt any approach to your unique history, life experiences, and personal values. I offer a sliding scale and therapy in English or Korean. Our first session will focus on identifying your specific needs and goals for therapy. We will discuss the structure of sessions and an approach to guide us towards your goals. In particular, I seek to empower clients of diverse backgrounds around social issues of oppression, institutional discrimination, racial injustice, and IPV/gender violence. Please feel free to contact me and inquire about specific services.
