It takes courage to open up and come to therapy. My approach is to meet you where you are at, and go from there. Most people feel they are only ready for therapy when in crisis or suffering. I am here to tell you that therapy is ready for you whenever you need it. My style is warm, honest, and compassionate. I have been a clinical psychotherapist working with adolescents and adults dealing with anxiety, depression, chronic illness as well as cancer for over 5 years. I specialize in trauma, grief and bereavement counseling. My experience also includes helping individuals deal with life transitions, relationship dynamics, caregiver support, and self- disclosure. It is important to know that there is no right or wrong way to approach therapy, and my goal is to ensure you get the most out of our sessions together. I aim to create a safe space where you can feel comfortable to grow and feel validated.

To make our site free for consumers, providers on Psych Hub pay fees to connect with potential clients who are a fit for their services. Some also purchase Psych Hub's educational content for practitioner training and client support. How do we determine which ones to display?

Rather than make specific provider recommendations, we present options and information so you can make an informed decision on what provider best fits your needs. Where we have multiple participating providers, we present multiple options (and where we don't, we prioritize adding more options to our site over time). We present providers whose capabilities, insurance coverage, availability and other attributes best match your stated needs. If many providers appear to equally meet your needs, we display a selection of them at random. Our decision on which participating providers to display is never impacted by the amount of fees we receive from them.

What is the relationship between Psych Hub and these providers?

The providers listed on our site are all independent entities from Psych Hub. We have a contractual relationship with each provider that governs the terms of their participation on the site, and in some cases, as mentioned above, their use of Psych Hub's educational content. What causes us to remove providers from our site?

We require that providers meet all licensing requirements of states where they offer services. If a provider loses their license, they are removed from our site for that state or service. We also seek feedback from users on providers they find on our site. We investigate significant negative feedback and remove providers if we conclude that to be appropriate.
